“Each of us has an inner thermostat setting that determines how much love, success, and creativity we allow ourselves to enjoy. When we exceed our inner thermostat setting, we will often do something to sabotage ourselves, causing us to drop back into the old, familiar zone where we feel secure.”

Phewww!!.. it feels good to be back. I’m so excited to be writing to you once again because this feels more like a letter than a story this time. It feels really good😀
A lot hasn’t changed…well, who am I kidding? So much has changed since I have been away for a whole year but I think a lot more has changed in the blogging world. I got tired of a lot of things like A LOT just like I’ve seen a lot of people start ideas and just stop. I know I am on this table because I have started a lot of things and stopped. I have been able to use myself as a case study and come up with reasons why this happens in the creativity market. Almost everyone once had a blog, or a business or even a YouTube channel but it is no more. I understand that life happens but sometimes we let life happen too much.
“Everyone has that moment I think, the moment when something so momentous happens that it rips your very being into small pieces. And then you have to stop. For a long time, you gather your pieces. And it takes such a very long time, not to fit them back together, but to assemble them in a new way, not necessarily a better way. More, a way you can live with until you know for certain that this piece should go there and that one there.”

You either started for the wrong reason or thought you would cash out ASAP and it didn’t happen. You compared yourself a lot and the zeal to create died or never even had a real plan in the first place. Trust me, you’re not a bad person. You are just HUMAN. There are more reasons like Laziness, over thinking, lack of discipline and peer pressure that make people start and stop. So find your challenge and tackle it. Nobody is perfect so allow yourself to make mistakes and take corrections. I’m gonna have to leave you here because I have a masterclass to attend. See you in a bit.
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ON BLOGGING OR SUGGESTIONS FOR WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE ME TO WRITE NEXT, LEAVE A COMMENT BELOW! I KNOW THIS WAS VERY SHORT BUT THIS IS JUST A LITTLE TEASER FOR WHAT’S TO COME!
Love always, Dee❤️
